Cannes Film Festival 2017: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Has Just Walked Out Of A Garden!

The first two looks of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan from Cannes 2017 are out! And I must say they have not impressed me at all.

For the 1st one, Aishwarya chose an emerald green tissue layered dress by Yanina Couture. The blue-eyed diva left her tresses loose and wavy, and gave a striking smile with those pouty pink lips. For me, there is absolutely no wow factor in this look.

While the colour selection was good, the big motive flowers all over her dress makes us feel that Mrs Bachchan has just walked though a flower garden. Talking about the make-up and hair, I guess there was not much experiment- pretty much Aishwarya style!

The second look as well was way too floral and cliche. She kept the hair, make-up and heels same and just changed to a Cinderella gown by Mark Bumgarner.

Last year, Aishwarya made headlines and kick-started the trend of purple lips when she donned it at Cannes Film Festival with utmost confidence. All her looks were praise-worthy and received a positive judgement by the fashion gurus across the globe. Aishwarya has been a regular at Cannes, sometimes she has been outrightly ruled out for her looks at the gala and at times she has garnered a lot of accolades.

Also, spotted during the day was Mallika Sherawat taking a city tour in a very unflattering printed dress. What is wrong with you lady? Have you travelled back in time and landed the in the ‘90s by any chance? Why would you wear something so hideous?

Mallika was wearing an Emilio Pucci creation.

Day 3 has begun on a disappointing note, and I have my fingers crossed for Mrs Bachchan’s next look. Watch this space to know all that’s happening at Cannes Film Festival 2017.
